Shostakovich, Collected Works, in 42 vols., Vol. 11, Muzyka Publishers, Moscow, 1984, collated with the author’s manuscript, which is stored at the Glinka All-Russia Museum Association of Musical Culture (VMOMK), rec. gr. 32, f. 70 (a copy of the author’s manuscript is kept in Dmitri Shostakovich’s Archive, rec. gr. 2, section 1, f. 25).

This publication is based on the edition: D. Shostakovich, Collected Works, in 42 vols., Vol. 11, Muzyka Publishers, Moscow, 1984. There is no author’s manuscript, according to the editor of Vol. 11 of Collected Works, the composer gave it to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kirghizia and it can probably be found in a museum in Frunze (now Bishkek).
