Music to the Film.


Music for kinofilm The Return of Maxim, directed by Grigori Kozintsev and Leonid Trauberg.

It was written in December 1936–37.

The film was first shown on May 23, 1937. 

The Russian National Museum of Music has preserved thirteen autograph numbers. Complete score and piano scores (the first page was signed by the composer on December 6, 1965) are stored in the Russian State Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography.
